Brittany Hoffman, Paralegal / Office Manager
As an Elkhart native, Brittany has been with Bellin Law Office since it first opened its doors in 2013.  Brittany assists in all phases of litigation, from the filing of an appearance to discovery to trial preparation.  She is also well versed in the Indiana Rules of Appellate Procedure, and has mastered the nuances involved with filing appeals.  She frequently assists with document examination and management, the drafting of pleadings, fact development, deposition preparation and trial preparation.  In addition to being a Paralegal, Brittany also manages the office. Her meticulous organizational skills help to keep the office running smoothly. She takes great care in ensuring that our clients are getting the help they need.

Brittany received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in 2008, where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology.  She has continued her education in Paralegal Studies, and has engaged in on the job training at law firms since 2009.  She is a proud graduate of Elkhart Central High School.

Elizabeth BellinAttorney/Owner

Elizabeth earned her law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2004.  As a native of Syracuse, New York, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York College at Cortland in Cortland, New York in 2001.  She has been dedicated in the areas of criminal defense and appellate advocacy her entire career, and has practiced in many state courts throughout Northern Indiana, the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court. 

Ms. Bellin holds a license in both the State of Indiana and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.  She is an active member of the Elkhart Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA).  She is an At Large Representative for the ISBA Board of Governors, an ISBA District Representative for the House of Delegates, and serves as vice-chair for the ISBA Women in Law Committee. She is involved with several community outreach organizations to better serve the people throughout the state and in her community.  Other past and current memberships include the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDL), the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), and the American Bar Association (ABA).
